We accept the following donations:

Financial Donations

We accept financial donations to help fund our operations and community projects. Checks can be mailed to 303 Cahoon Dr., Bay Village, OH 44140 or dropped off during open shop hours. Make checks payable to Village Bicycle Cooperative. Alternatively, you can click on the Donate button below to donate by credit card through Paypal's network (no Paypal account needed). Note that if donating through Paypal, a small portion of your donation pays a processing fee. Village Bicycle Cooperative is a 501c3 organization. Your donation may be tax-deductible.

Bikes Donations

- We do NOT accept scooters, E-bikes, nor children's tricycles
- We accept all other bikes other than the above. Bikes donations may be left leaning against the double doors of the cooperative at any time, ideally with a note indicating that it is a donation. Tax receipts are available in the waterproof literature box on the exterior double doors, if needed (see photo below). This allows donors to drop off bike donations whether the shop is open or closed.

*Note that due to space limitations, your bike donation may be scrapped for parts and recycled through our metal recycling program, depending on current needs and space availability. We attempt to donate excess bikes to partner bike cooperatives that do similar work to us before scrapping usable bikes.

- Large Frame hybrid bicycles are especially needed for our Fix-it-Forward program

Bike part donations are accepted, including:

- Shifters
- Seats
- Wheels
- New tires
- New tubes
- Headsets
- Chainrings
- Cassettes
- Handlebars
- Grips
- Front and rear reflectors
- Bike specific hardware

Supplies for our Fix-it-Forward Program

New Helmets
Bike locks
Reflective bands
LED lights sets with AA or AAA batteries
AA or AAA batteries

Supplies for our Shop

- Dehumidifiers (working)
- Clean rags (can be old, but clean, t-shirts and towels)
- Simple Green
- Heavy duty hand soaps
- Scotch cleaning pads
- Sand paper
- Steel wool
- Zip ties
